ChesMRC continues to work closely with the community and public agencies to prevent the spread and mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Now, more than ever, our services and resources are needed by our clients and the community at-large.

On July 17^th, Talbot County announced that the Hispanic community is being particularly affected by the virus.  An article from the Star Democrat on July 22^nd further described the situation.  The health officer attributed the high case count among the county’s immigrant population, specifically, to those individuals being very much out in front, working, sometimes traveling together to a job, sometimes living more to a household than others.
