ChesMRC and the Easton Academy Art Museum partnered up on Saturday, January 9, 2016 for an event featuring “Australia – Travel The World” where over 65 families were steadily engaged in learning about the in’s and out’s of Australia.
Projects included the Aboriginal Art project, which featured making and eating Australian treats and reading stories from or about Australia.
ChesMRC families joined families from local, public and private schools, home schoolers and Talbot Mentors. The event was a huge success and everyone that attended reported they plan to attend the next “Travel the World” event in the Spring which will feature Italy.
ChesMRC is grateful for our continued partnership and the mini-grants received from the Academy Art Museum to allow our children and families to partake in such wonderful and educational events focusing on the arts!
