16th Annual Multicultural Festival – This Event is Free and All are Welcome!
Saturday, May 2 – 10 AM to 2 PM, Idlewild Park in Easton, MD
Originally created by Talbot County P.E.A.C.E. and debuting in 2000, the Multicultural Festival is a celebration of the rich diversity within our community, including the distinct heritages dating back several generations, and members of the numerous ethnic groups who have come to call this area their home. As our community has grown, so has the Multicultural Festival, and in 2009 Talbot County P.E.A.C.E partnered with the Avalon Foundation to accommodate the Festival’s growing popularity.
This year we will celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Avalon Foundation presenting the Festival for our community. Friends, neighbors, and visitors alike are welcome to join in the celebration through live music, dance, art, crafts, games, and especially food and fellowship!
