Thanks for your interest in the Community Interpreting Course, which will be instructed on Saturdays (10 am – noon) and Tuesdays (6pm-8pm).

Please save the dates for the next Community Interpreting Course at Chesapeake College:

The Community Interpreter International
Sat. Sept. 18, 2021 – Sat. Dec. 11, 2021
Total 22 sessions
No classes Tues., Nov. 23 and Sat., Nov. 27, 2021
Depending on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, the course may be instructed online, or it may be offered as a hybrid (Tuesdays online, Saturdays on campus). The modality will be confirmed when time approaches.

 

Important notes/recommendations:

  • This course is recommended for bilingual individuals who are at least 18 years old, and who have completed high-school.
  • Students are welcome to explore scholarship options through the Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board.  If considering this option, please apply in advance.
